Replacing torque tube and flexplate
My flexplate shredded from a stray bolt, was off balance and eventually bearing and couplers were toast.
I found a decent driveshaft/torque tube complete and have installed by the manual.
So I’m ready to hook up transmission to torque tube and see that I missed the part about removing the driveshaft bearing plugs and putting in bolts to secure the driveshaft front bearing.
New driveshaft and tube was all one piece, when would the front bearing have moved? I don’t understand how or when the front bearing would move.
