Dashboard Lights Inoperative
As I am now taking my beloved 2004 Coupe, daily driver, excellent condition, in for service. I would wlelcome the opportunoity to paste antother issue, My result was that need to replace the MSF lever (left side of steering Column). I would please welcome any confirming or contrasting view. The desription is below. Thank you
The issue is that the Dashboardlights and the Rear Lights are inoperative with the Headlights in the ON position. Some findings;
1, The dashboardlights do work until the key is turned. When I turn the key to OFF the lights work, that with the Headlights OFF.
2. With the Vette running, and Headlights ON, all dashboardlights are inoperative, Exceptions being the DIC, the clock, the AC/Radio number display.
3. The turn signal, brake lights work normally. The Rear Lights do not work with the Headlights ON
4. Otherwise the Vette operates normally
5. There has been no recent work on the Vette
6. One odd thing, if I engage the Twilight ON function, all is well.
