Just things I have learned and seen results on the Dyno with above swaps. Headers need to be 1 and 7/8. Ditch the 1.75 headers. Air Intake, Ditch the C5 stuff, go with LS3 style and blade MAF sensor. Huge gains when you swap out that tired LS1 or LS6.
These adapter harnesses are available from Racetronix, Casper Electronics, or Lingenfeltor. Or they should be unless this Covid thing has them backordered.

If you have a link to a specific cable that lets the LS3 MAF car style senor plug into the stock LS6 harness, that would be awesome.
I find it easy to locate the 97-00 MAF adapter, but not the 01-04.
I.e. all the adapters I find are for 5 wire to 3 wire or 3 wire + IAT breakout. None of these will work for me....
It does the same thing. However it is a blade style maf maybe 3/8 wide by 2.5 " long inserted into the air intake, thus no air restriction like conventional units contained within a fixed diameter unit. You can put this "Blade" into any size air intake unit. Of course, Tuning is required.
The LS3/LS7 MAF's IAT sample rate is also much higher so it is quicker to respond. It also doesn't suffer from nearly as much heat soak.
Watching IATs after swapping from a 85mm MAF to LS3 MAF, the temps drop as soon as the car starts to move. Gets back to ambient really quick after sitting at a stoplight.
.5 liter/31" All Bore will add 25 -35 RWHP & 20-30 LB' throughout the Whole curve ~2500-6500 RPM 2002-2004 Z06 VS LS3 stock to stock. Changing Cam and Heads can multiply those gains even further.
Bigger Bore opens up many more head options.

So I was reading through this looking for advice on which long tubes people are running for their LS3 swapped c5s as im in the middle of this project. Does anyone have any advice on this ? Running 832 square port heads. And I know the exaughst side is a little bigger and a wider D shape than the standard LS1 heads. So just wondering if I can find a set of ls3 headers that will not have clearance issues on a c5. I was worried about clearance issues if I just ran c6 headers. Anyone have an answer ?

Just get a set of C5 1 7/8 headers. You may have to clearance the frame tabs a bit. No big deal!
