I've been getting C1214 ABS code on and off for a while, every coupe of weeks, I'd clear the codes and no prob for a while, last few times it wouldn't clear....but when I'd re start the car a bit later the code woiuld be gone, then a few miles later it would come back on again... starnge that I wasn't able to clear it, it would go away then come back on later.... I figure it should stay on ..... not a big deal to send it off to ABS fixer, just areal PITA to remove it with my 2 left hands and 4 fat thumbs.... any body with similar experience? Thanks in advance for the replies...
My experience, FWIW:
The intermittent code will likely start occurring more and more often until it throws every time.
ABS fixer fixed mine, but after a few years, it started throwing a solenoid code then C1214 again.
A local shop (not Corvette experts) troubleshot it and came up with a bad BPMV, which i know can burn out the C1214 relay.
Because of the cars age, cost to fix, and probability of recurrence, i am doing without.
