Need help with a C5 issue - please
Hello all experts - I hope any will answer this thread..
I am located in Sweden and I have a C5 from 2000 with automatic gear - need expert help - please..
Made an over all spring cleaning of the car and now it doesn't run
When I start it up the engine work perfect - no problem at all BUT when I put the gear in it drive two yards and then turn it self off.
Can any help me out what to look for

Welcome. It sounds like you might be experiencing the 2mph fuel cut. I believe that this was programmed into early cars as part of a recall regarding the steering column locking. If I remember correctly, the car was programmed to cut the fuel if it thought the steering column lock malfunctioned. If you google "2mph fuel cut" and "column lock bypass" you will find a lot on reading.
In the meantime, in preparation for the people who will come along who have worked with this issue. Are you getting any messages on the dash such as pull key and wait 10 seconds, or any other messages? All of this info will be helpful. I would suggest pulling the codes and having them ready. C5Diag - I have sent you a PM. Monica has had the LMC5 installed, but being in Sweden is having a problem finding a competent tech to diagnose. Can you read my PM and respond in PM? Thank you, Ed
