Default High compression + bad battery + underdrive pullies = missfire???

Well since I installed my high compression heads, I have only been to the track once and had a bad nitrous explosion. Since than, my battery has gone south. The battery is not strong enough to even light up the interior lights with the keys in the ignition. I can jumpstart the car and get it running but it sounds alittle rough and lacks top end power. Could a bad battery and underdrive pullies not allow the ignition system to work correctly and give the spark plugs enough juice to light the 11.75:1 charge?

Low voltage inhibits the ability of the PCM to function properly. If you had an A4, you would notice that it's not shifting properly either.

Just get yourself an Optima Red Top and an MSD ignition with 8mm wires. That should take care of you. If not, throw in a better coil. I'm assuming that you have reprogrammed your computer already? Make sure it's all calibrated like it should be.
