I got a pair of new sunvisors to put in the car. The plastic piece that clips in broke and I had to cut it off. I wanted to know if I can use one of the old ones from my original visors and solder them together. They both say 300V on them.
The stock sunvisor has one white, one red wire & the aftermarket is red/black. Can these go together? And if so would the red wires go together?
I was a little confused since the red wire on the original goes into the "B" side of the plastic piece but on the other red wire it seems to say "A" somewhere on it.
Forgive me, I'm new to this.

Red wires by electrical standards are always the positive power connection and black wires usually mean negative or ground in car wiring systems. 300V means that the wire is rated for up to that voltage, I would connect the red wires together, the most that can happen if it's wrong is you will blow a fuse, hope this helps.
