Default Removing Cats

How much rwhp/rwtq would a setup like mine (see signature) get from removing the cats and putting in str8 pipes w/ O-2 simulators? Any programming or code issues?

I dont have a SC, but this was one of my favorite mods. I have the touring exh so noise is not an issue, it actually decreased cockpit noise/resonance at cruise on the interstate, could have been the xpipe too.

I would guess 10-20 rwhp depending on the cats. On my P1SC LS1 (5.5psi) I added FLP cats to the off road Y and lost 3rwhp, but I had leaned the car a bit so I probably lost more - I didnt care because the car sounded so much better with the cats :)

I witnessed a mostly stock (it had cold air, long tubes, etc. but no internal mods nor a s/c) LS1 gain 6 rwhp by removing the cats

My heads/cam car dyno'd 425 rwhp open headers, and 413 with full exhaust, including stock cats. I run the full exhaust with cats, cause this is a street machine. Why add to the pollution for maybe 15 stinking HP? And stinking is the right word, because without the cats, YOU WILL SMELL IT. Modern catylitic convertors aren't the restriction the old ones were. It's just not worth it. Your motor MAY be at the point where high flow cats would help, but I'd bet that the cats are costing you less than 10 HP. Go on a diet and remove all the unneeded junk from your car, that will do more for performance than losing the cats.
