Default ABS/Stability control

I would like to get both the ABS, and Stability Control working on my 98 A4, S.C. I have no DIC codes related to this but, I learned today after someone ran a red light, and I locked up my brakes that the ABS was not working. My brakes locked completely up for about 80'. I have known for a while that my Stability Control was also not working. I have a new LS3, with an A&A S/C, and just a light hit of my throttle results in wheel spin, all this with no codes or dash lights of any kind, in fact the I get the "Stability Control activated" warning. Are these things something that can be disabled using HP Tuners? I'm not sure if while tuning, that is what happened. I purchased HPT at the request of my remote tuner.

The engine torque reduction part of the traction control and AH can be disabled via tuning. But, you can't adjust the operation of the EBTC module as far as how it activates/reduces the brakes.

Does the TC light come one when starting the car? If it does, then it should illuminate if the module has a fault. The cluster will indicate a fault even if you disconnect the EBTC module completely.

Pull the codes, there should be some indication of the problem.

I have pulled the codes already, and nothing related to this. I will look in the morning to see if I have anything lit when starting the car. There was a lot of tuning going on from installing an LS3, and the SC on top of that so, I was just wondering if the guy I hired to tune my car, inadvertently turned those features off. I know absolutely nothing about computer electronics, which is why I was asking. I do have HP Tuners, if that could somehow help. Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it.

The ABS can't be turned off, unless you disconnect it and that would make the ABS not respond and the cluster would give an error about it. HP Tuners can't do anything to the ABS system.

Where would that connection be? I would like to check to see if somehow it did get disconnected. Thanks

It is odd that I have no warnings of any kind telling me that it is not working. When ever I spin the wheels, I get the warning that my traction control was activated but, it was not, nothing happened other than the message showing.

The plug on the module. Pulled fuses. Cut wires. All could disconnect it.

None would allow you to communicate with it and pull codes from it.

None would allow the car to show a TC active message.
