C5 ABS Issue after front end collision
I'm trying to figure out if the ABS system has a way to positively differentiate between the EBCM and say a sensor failure.
Up in the front right I have two wires that are clipped and appear to have nowhere to go. One is blue, one is black.
Any idea what those go to and if there's a way to check all the sensors before taking the time and $$ to send the EBCM out?
Thanks,
Two cut wires from where? the wheel speed sensor connections are large and gray, compared to the wires. If you have a connection to a wss, then follow the wire. if if goes into a bigger bundle of wires, then that is ok. The wires may be the ac clutch. then there’s the under hood light, and the ambient air temp sensor all on the right side
It's in the same wire bundle area as the right fog light, right turn signal, and right front running lamp, all of which are there and work.
Just two random wires, and they're pretty long. It may very well be the under-hood light. I don't see a connector for it. Need to get it up on a rack anyway, just sits way too low to see anything under there really on the ground.
Thanks for the ideas.
