Valvetrain upgrade
Hello. I have a 2004 C5 I been reading about the valvetraine failure. I wanted to upgrade my springs rockers and pushrods.
Do I need to replace lifters to since I will replace the push rods.
is there a full kit I can buy even if it comes with a small cam for street with manual transmission is ok. Any input would greatly be appreciated.

Over the winter, I upgraded to Pac 1219 springs, a Z06 spec cam, and Tick 7.4 pushrods. So far, so good.
No need to do the lifters, assuming no current issues. If you want to do the lifters, then consider upgrading or having the heads freshened.
