Default Speed Engineering Longtubes and Xpipe fitment

Hey folks looking to get the Speed Engineering longtubes and offroad xpipe for my 01 C5. Wanted to ask a few questions, did some research on em but wanted some input.

1. Have the clamps been revised? Some old threads people said they are junk, but some from 2018 or so said they have been revised...are they that bad?

2. Heard the xpipe has no flange at the end where it meets your catback...if true...assuming has to be welded/modified eh?

3. Seems 3" is what the lts collecter and xpipe comes in. Will this fit a 2.5" corsa extreme catback? Assumimg back to quesrion #2 that it will have to be modified and welded eh?

4. Will these lts still make noticable gains with a tune on the auto? I know some swear by kooks and ARH but if these 1 7/8 lts make the same power as the rest of the big names guess it doesnt matter eh?

I just installed mine about a week ago on my H/C/I build (have yet to start the car because my tuner had my PCM). The header fitment is unbelievably good. My first better had a set of Billy Boat headers and these honestly fit much much better and both sides install from the bottom. I had to put an O2 extension on the front passenger sensor to make sure the harness was far away from the collector.

As far as the Corsa, it will fit fine. The X-pipe requires cutting off the rear sections of your factory h-pipe and sliding them into the SE X-pipe so you retain the factory connection at the cat-back. I can tell the fit at those joints completely suck so I purchased some righteous clamps for those two joints but may end up welding them. The other clamps seem to fit great if you use am impact wrench.
