Default How to reset the computer

I installed a set of TPIS headers afetr getting everything back togetherI fired the car....is was rough and he check engine light was on so I shut it down after just a few seconds....after looking I forgot to plug the fuel injectors back in on the left side. Did that now it sounds great but the engine light is still on.
Does this need reset by disconnecting the battery or do I have another problem ???
Any help would be great . Anyone with long tubes have a problem with codes after install???

You undoubtly have a few trouble codes in your computer. You must call them up and clear them for the "check engine" light to go off. Do a search on Codes and you will find lots of info on how to eliminate your problem.

How to reset the computer through the DIC.

1. Turn ignition ON, engine OFF.

2. Press the RESET button to acknowledge any warning messages that may be present.

3. Press the OPTIONS button and hold.

4. While holding the OPTIONS button, press the FUEL button 4 times with in a 10 second period.

5. System will enter automatic display mode.

Automatic display mode, shows codes (if any) for eeach system and then stops in manual mode. Manual mode can be entered at any time by pressing any key except E/M.

In manual display mode, the keys operate as follows:

FUEL- previous DTC
GAGES- Next DTC
TRIP- Previos System
OPTIONS- Next System
E/M- Exit Diagnostics
RESET- Clear DTCs

Hope that this helps. If you have any questions please give us a call.

Thanks,
Chad
