Passenger Side hood latch

When i close the hood the passenger side seems very resistant to latch i usually have to push on the corner of the hood some times more than once with increasing pressure to get the thing to latch. It there an adjustment i should be looking at. I have looked at the female and male sides of the latch dont see anything out or bent. Any advice is appreciated.

I had the very same problem a couple days ago - the cure was I sprayed some WD40 on the latch - problem solved.

Put a bit of lube on each end of the latch, solved my issue.

I have this issue as well, haven't tried the lube method. But, what usually works for me is dropping the hood from the center, so that both sides of the hood land evenly.

That is how I found closing my hood works.
