Default Windshield washer pump location and replacement

Hello all

Pump on washer fluid quit working today. This is inside the reservoir right or under it?? I searched on here and YouTube. Everyone has same issue no one says how to replace it or where it’s located. How does it fasten back in place if its under the reservoir?

PS. I checked the fuses all good. Wipers still work. Udders not clogged. Wiper washer pump makes no noise. Was working fine last week when I used it. No codes on dash. I put a voltmeter to it with key off. Shows 0 volts. When I turn key on shows 11.5 volts even before I push the wiper wash button in.. Sound like the washer pump bad?

Thanks for any feedback!

It's an easy fix. The pump is under the tank. Just remove the tank (two 10mm bolts I think) and the pump pulls out. It is a generic AC/Delco part and they run about $10-12 at Autoland.

Wow thanks for the quick reply. Ok thanks brotha.. Does it just snap in place? Is there some kind of bolt or grommet that holds it in? Peace

thanks dude. Would you happen to know what this little plastic round ball that feeds the washer fluid to the washer arms is called? Mine just dry rotted broke off when I barely twisted it.

What’s that little round ball part called that feeds the washer fluid to the wiper arm via the rubber hose? Anyone? Mine just broke off!

The pump is held in with a grommet and pulls right out. You have to disconnect the electrical connector. As for that little plastic piece, I think you will have to buy the "washer hose assembly." Try RockAuto.com or one of the forum vendors.

thats a windshield washer nozel. They are very brittle. Unfortunately they are discontinued and no aftermarket. You’ll have to look at junk yards for a replacement.

Just a thought. You may be able to find a 'work around' cap for your needs. Try this site.

thanks for the reply but I want it working. I live in Florida and I use the washer fluid daily. One dry side won’t work for me
