Adding amp to factory C5. Can it be done
Hi guys I’m new to the site. Forgive me if this is posted somewhere else, I’m trying to get used to the website. I have a C-5 2004 convertible with the factory head unit. A couple months back the door Bose subs shot craps. I went ahead and replace the highs of miss, As well as the subs in the door. I went to Crutchfield and installed some 8 inch kickers. Problem is the subs have no power, leaving me with just mids and highs. I know that the Bose had built-in amps but now I need another option to get power. Is it possible to wire and amplifier to an existing factory radio to power the new subs?

Yes. You just would need the right interface: the PAC AOEM-VET1. As a bonus, it would become a plug-and-play process.
