My buddy is a big member in the Audi Forum and just found a way to disconnect his odometer (for testing purposes of course), and I know someone who was curious as how to do this on a C5 or if possible??

Just install a new instrument cluster. The mileage goes with cluster.
It is also stored somewhere in computer but nobody ever checks it.
