My headlight multifunction switch went bad, so I am currently replacing it. I finally got the old one out, screwed in the new one, but when I reconnect the harness, the horn immediately starts to blow. I unscrewed the switch, and plugged in the harness first, and as soon as I put the switch in place and the brass horn pin makes contact, the horn blows.
So did I do something wrong here, or did I possibly knock something loose to make it touch the brass pin? I'm at a loss for what happened, and how I should correct it.
