Need help with tune and tuner
Recently purchased a 99 convertible automatic 63,000 miles and I need help with tune that was on car. I purchased the car from the gentleman’s wife which he had passed and she was selling his car. The car came with a real old hyper tech tuner that was in the trunk, read directions and plugged it up to really just check it out the device said that a tune had already been uploaded so I told the device to return back to stock so that I could purchase a new SCT x4 tuner, it programmed back to stock but afterward none of the cooling fans would come so I plugged the tuner back up and uploaded a simple tune back to it. It successfully uploaded to pcm now the vehicle shift points are different and it just seems like it has less torque. So I plugged tuner back up to change tune and it’s that the memory was corrupt I contacted hyper tech and they said it was too old they could not fix it and recommend I buy a brand new hyper tech. I purchased a sct x4 tuner and now it says it can not save the stock file so I am unable to tune. Should I get pcm flashed? What is my best bet? Please help.

I'm in no way a skilled tuner at all, and am just getting my feet wet with HP Tuners. But if you can find someone around there with HP Tuners you can spend the $100 for the credits, pull a stock tune from the HPTuners repository, and upload it. If you like I can pull a tune off the repository and send it to ya, but you still need to get it uploaded with HP Tuner software.
