I got my first corvette last month (1998) and about a week ago it started knocking (rod bearings). My plan is to do a LY6 swap, which is basically an iron block ls3. I want to run a terminator x ecu, but also want my dash and ac to work. I haven't found much online about this and any help would be appreciated.

some ecu's like haltech for example can be wired in to piggyback off of the stock pcm so that the gauges and everything else will still work... does the holley come with a wiring diagram?... if so you should be able to figure out what you need to eliminate or tap into to make it work... holley would probably be able to tell you as well, I would personally try contacting them first
Pretty sure you could leave the stock PCM for the fuel gauge and speedometer and maybe oil pressure and engine temp. Basically, for the sensors and gauges that go through it and are accessed via serial data.
Tune out the codes for most everything related to engine running. The tach is a pulse signal so it could be connected to the Holley. Speedo is a pulse so it could be too possibly if the stock PCM doesn't keep working for it.
You will lose some of the DIC stuff like fuel mileage for sure.
