looking to lower the rear of my 2004 Z06. Measuring fender opening is almost 30 in rear and 27 in front Looking at the adjusting bolts it seems all the threads are showing. What I've read is to turn clockwise to lower. In my case shouldn't I be going counterclockwise? Hope I am making sense Former owner had new flared fenders put on and apparently raised it all the way up.. The pic should give you an idea
To avoid ride quality you can lower about 1 inch based on body panel measurements from proper ride height. Body panel measurements are really reference measurements. It looks like some lowering has been done, so some caution would be suggested. Ride height is not a body panel measurement, it is measured at the lower control arms.
the front has been lowered and I want to lower the rear about 1 inch I know the actual measure point but wondering if rears seem to be at the top do I go counterclockwise with the bolts thanks Youtube shows doing this but says to go clockwise- mine shows all threads above the upper nut
As a suggestion, insist both front and rear toe are set to 0deg , not just turning the little boxes on the output screen green. You can get some nasty corner wear on your tires even within factory specs.
