fender emblems

My 04 Z06 has fender emblems in the wrong place and I want to reposition or put new ones on How do I find the correct spot? Havent been able to find measurements for correct position any one know? I'll add pic of current Location I assume much closer to forward openng but not sure how close Thanks

I never noticed till someone pointed it out They are too low and close to the door opening but I guess tolerable Thanks Car is in great shape 50k miles
