Broken drive shaft

Broken drive shaft
A4 auto with billet couplers.
Idling on jack stands doing some idle tuning on new engine.
Converter seems to spin free.
Any ideas. This is the front of shaft.

Thats got to be a first, never seen one damaged that way. Where's the flange the coupler bolts to?

still in torque tube will pull later

22 thou run out on section that broke. back to rubber couplers lol

The drive shaft shops got a deal going right now I think 850 bucks gets you 1 in about 6 weeks or so for a 1k rated one .
