Front flasher issue
It’s a 2001 corvette. Right front flasher burned out (literally melted the housing) I replaced the bulb and it works BUT my right turn signal is still flashing rapidly. I cycled the hazards a few times and they function normally. What could be the issue?

I replaced exactly what it had a sylvania 4157. Thinking it could be the bulb socket itself which is relatively cheap and easy to do but I’m afraid that’s just wishful thinking on my end

Are the Daytime Running lights working? I know it’s a two element bulb. Maybe that part is causing the blinker to hyper flash?
The sockets are easy to change and do get brittle and break over time. Very possible that is the problem.

the rest of the lights work perfectly fine. What’s the procedure for the socket? Kind of hard to see in there but I should be able to do it with the headlight shroud removed.
