I agree. My guage is pegged out but ever shop wants to charge a stupid crazy amount here because they MUST remove the manifold. Heck if they wanted to do that and if I went that route then I'd put an ls6 manifold

I would take off the coils and remove the manifold, you only need to move it a little to make it easy to get at the sending unit. No spilling gas and touchy fuel injection o rings to mess with. IMHO

Good point. So if you just unbolt the manifold and move it you don't have to remove anything else? Also since I don't know, when bolting it back up is there a sequence and torque spec?

Just the coupler to the air cleaner, you can squeak by not detaching the fuel line also. Start from the middle bolts work out and torque to 44 inch pounds first pass 89 inch pounds second pass. The back two bolts are hard to reach, hold them up with tape when reinstalling. And they will require the yaa that feels like 89in cause its impossible to get the torque wrench back there.
You mentioned a LS6 manifold if your doing that it will require a few more obvious things
