shorty headers
i have a o1 ZO6 that i'm putting on B&B shorty headers i cleaned out the pups how much HP will i get with headers >>> car is stock except for Varram air intake and X pipe>> i had car dyno 2 weeks ago 355 RWHP & 354 RWTQ.. do you think i will get 10 more HP with the headers>> :chevy

I'll be surprised if you get 10 hp from the shorties. I'm not saying you won't, but the "general consensus" on this board is that shorties are of little or no value...
Hope you find differently and please let us know what you find.

It would be great to find that shorties offer an improvement - they are an easier install.
I asked about them for my Z06, since the 02 Z06 has cast iron manifolds, I figured I could get a 15# weight loss AND a few hp, but the general attitude was that it would be a waste of time...

If you do a search I think you will find that most people are using the long tube headers now. You know the rule if you wait 5 minutes technology will change and what was once the ideal is now almost worthless. :smash: :smash:
