When did you do the vararam, before the dyno test? Your dyno test is right in line with what MOST stock Z06 owners are getting, so if you did the vararam before that test, then Blu's test is even wierder.
I'll be surprised if you get 10 hp from the shorties. I'm not saying you won't, but the "general consensus" on this board is that shorties are of little or no value...

It would be great to find that shorties offer an improvement - they are an easier install.
I asked about them for my Z06, since the 02 Z06 has cast iron manifolds, I figured I could get a 15# weight loss AND a few hp, but the general attitude was that it would be a waste of time...

If you do a search I think you will find that most people are using the long tube headers now. You know the rule if you wait 5 minutes technology will change and what was once the ideal is now almost worthless. :smash: :smash:
