Default Changing shocks

If I change my front shocks on my 2002 with after market bilsteins, will that set a code on the computer? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

You will be fine if you do not have the ride control option. If you do you'll need to get the resistors which are a plug n' play fix for the error code.

MyStuff2, welcome to the Corvette Forum. You've come to the right place for all things Corvette and soon will likely find it the most useful tool in your tool box!

If you're new to Forums, just wear some Kevlar for a while and you'll learn to appreciate some of the folks sense of humor here. There are some incredibly talented folks here and most will go out of their way to assist in any way they can.

As for shocks, a lot of folks here like the C6 Z06 shocks and find them less expensive than the Bilsteins. I personally like the Bilsteins and have them on all of my Corvettes as well as my daily drivers. One thing to consider is if your car is lowered or not. It can factor in when selecting the correct shock.

Good luck... GUSTO
