If you're new to Forums, just wear some Kevlar for a while and you'll learn to appreciate some of the folks sense of humor here. There are some incredibly talented folks here and most will go out of their way to assist in any way they can.
As for shocks, a lot of folks here like the C6 Z06 shocks and find them less expensive than the Bilsteins. I personally like the Bilsteins and have them on all of my Corvettes as well as my daily drivers. One thing to consider is if your car is lowered or not. It can factor in when selecting the correct shock.
