Nice Roll Bar!
ON the seatbelt issue, try using a six-point harness to take care of the anti-submarine issue. I got a Sparco one from Northstar Motorsports and I use that setup with my BK Harness Bar for DE roadrace events. I will probably get a bar eventually.

Hi,
We build a standard 4 point bar with a diagonal brace that goes from the top of the bar on the drivers side down to the bottom of the hoop on the passenger side. Our rear braces are straight, which is stronger than a bent design. The object of a roll bar is to prevent bending, rather than supply the braces "Pre-bent".
The diagonal bar is a required bar for road racing/SCCA.
This is a weld in roll bar, but very easy to install.
Our design allows top to be stored as normal with no interference.
The price is $595 powdercoated black but we can do other special colors.
We can also supply the removable side bar/bars for $200 per side.
We do not do a "swing out" door bar due to the potential for injury to the driver if the bar was removed. there would be too much of a stub sticking out to cause injury. We prefer to have the door bars remove totally when not in use.
Below are 2 links to the Xtreme Corvettes web site where there are some photos.

We have plenty already made that are ready to ship, without the door bars. We also can supply the "Foam" roll bar padding, and a 4 or 5 point harness in Black, Red or Blue.
Give us a call if you want to order one.
Thanks,
