oil pressure

My 2000 has 90000 on the meter. On hot day oil pressure runs around 35 at highway speed and idle around 20. Would a little higher weight oil up the pressure a little?????????

Yes. Your pressure isn't terrible but I would probably like to see a little more too.

The Mobil 1 High Mileage line may suit you well. Give 10w-30 or 10w-40 a try. or Mobil 1 FS 0w-40.

Yes, but pressure isn't as critical as volume! I wouldn't worry about it.

Old rule of thumb is 10 lbs of oil pressure for 1,000 RPM's so at 2k 35 lbs is fine, especially with Synthetic motor oil viscosities.
