Default trackspec sct1 swat bar

I'm looking for gm t1 sway bar wich are not avilable anymore so i was looking for alternative like sct1 and lg g1.
I found a lot of stuff about the lg g1 but not for the spec racing sct1 they are way cheaper than the lg g1 and claim to be direct replacement for gm t1.

Any one here have experience with the trackspec sct1?

Just to make sure are you saying that the diameter stated in the summit racing page is wrong or the diameter of the sct1 is not the same as the gm t1?

here's the link of the sway bar I'm talking about.

they don't state any diameter

your link doenst work. i bought that part number from summit and got a blue 38 mm bar (without bushings). still have the invoice. later i bought the lg g1 bar for another car. i got exactly the same bar. they had to refund a part of the price, bacause they had advertised it as 1 9/8". now i see they state 19/16 which is b.s., probably 10+9 meaning 1 9/8. but on another item it sais 38 mm (change of ownership apparently didnt help much).

btw, you will probably not find a larger (suitable) bar. there is just no chromoly tubing being made a bit larger/thicker.

It's weird the link is working fort me...
I know that the LG g1 is the same as t1 and the spec corvette one are advertised as t1 direct replacement but for 165$ less than the lg g1 but no one seem Ti have experience with them.

as you have experience with t1 I have read that they are amazing and other's say that they are to stiff. I got c5z leaf and I'm running nt01 in 255/275 might go larger if I find c5z wheel at a good price but for now that's what I'm running. Car is used for track I don't mind street comfort. Would you recommend them for that setup?

thanx

as mentioned, im running two of them and was looking for a stiffer one. im running an original c5 in the rear on the blown c5 and am thinking about removing the rear altogether on the track driven c6z06. but thats my preference, everybody has its own, you can juggle between shocks, springs, bars, tires and alignment infinitely. i know plenty of people who would not recommend the t1 bar (e.g. sam strano). as long as all the harshness is comming from the rear with 315s and the t1 im fine.

edit: btw, there is a 2002 z06 with t1 bars advertised in the autocross section now.

The bars are in fact, direct replacements for the T1 bars. As other stated, T1 bars are fantastic bars but out of production. We have about 60 Spec Corvettes Racing across the US on them setting some of the fastest lap times. For instance, this past weekend, the front runners in Spec were lapping 1:39s at Laguna and Josh Carrol knew he had a 38 in it without traffic. The faster aero cars with more power and on Hoosiers were only 1-2 seconds faster. We are on 200 TW Nankang street tires. Penske Spec Corvette coilovers and SCT1 sway bars are a great combo. We’ve sold plenty to non spec guys with great results.

One of the reason we had to make our own bars was to control costs, inventory, and increase quality. Supply was one of our biggest issues when starting spec. Hard to start a race series when parts aren’t available or sporadically available. We cut up a set of T1 bars and got the direct measurements.

I would double check the measurements on other brands. T1 bars are 38mm or 1 1/2” fronts. And also keep in mind wall thickness plays a huge “roll” (see what I did there?) in bar rate.
