windshield wipers won't ''park''
picked up vette from american custom this morning after having some work done . it was misty out and i ran wipers a few times on way home and now the are stopped a couple inches up on glass rather than ''parked'' . is there a way , preferably simple , to get them to where they belong . it was probably first time i've run them in 14 years we have had car . it is the 2000 coupe by the way . thanks . . .peace

If they took the wiper arms off for the work that was done, they may just have to reposition the arms on the stud that comes through the cowl.

i owe somebody a HUGE THANK YOU . after getting a few thoughts here , yesterday i decided to try the whole internet . i found some info on corvette forums i'd never heard of as well as some info at other posts on google . one of them said just run wipers and keep turning them on and off . sprayed some quick detailer on window and ran wipers for maybe ten seconds , shut them off and they parked normally . i am really pleased that i didn't need professional help again , or rather the car didn't need it as i definitely DO . . .peace.
