Didn't notice what your AFR was at idle, but pretty much ALL cars idle lean to conserve fuel. There's no load on the engine, so there's no reason to do otherwise.

I don't know my AFR as I don't have a wide band O2 but I didn't realize that! Makes much more sense now that it runs lean at idle.
