Default Exhaust systems

I purchased a new vette a couple of weeks ago, on the way home I was rearended, on the freeway. It destroyed the Exhaust tips and end pipes, but little else, so I am lucky.... However, I do have to replace the cat back....
I want to go with a titanium system. Does anyone have any suggestions. I hear Borla makes a great one, but then again this was a dealer telling me this, so who knows. I could also go with the factory Z06 system. My car is a 2002 Coupe. The dealer (Borla) suggested a stainless sytem that has a "muscle car" sound. Not sure about this.... Any opinions would be apprecitated

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Welcome to the Forum.

I'm a Corsa guy, so I recommend taking a look at their titanium system.

Borla and Corsa titanium systems are nice, but VERY expensive, and probably not worth the money. Borla makes 2 muscle car exhausts - the XR1 and the Stinger, both are reasonably priced - $600-$800 or so. The Z06 titanium is a nice system too, but may be tame if you're looking for muscle car sound. :seeya

Depending on how loud you want to be, the MAGNAFLOW system is great. Honestly, after going to a few car shows so that I could see and hear the different brands, I made the decision to go with the Magnaflow w/ x-pipe.

My .02 cents. Good luck.
