Strange click/battery drain

went to crank it today and battery was too weak.
I checked for corrosion on the terminals - they looked fine. I connected the POS terminal.
as I was reconnecting the Neg terminal, I heard a click under the passenger side headlight. Everything was off in the car, key out.
I started to pull fuses one at a time from the box near the battery to see if I could determine what system relay was engaging.
Not fog lights
Not headlights.
Not Horn.
Finally I started unplugging the various plugs in that area to see if I could find it that way. Fast forward...
Directly under the passenger headlight, there is a small box with two flat plugs. Each plug has approx 5 or 6 wires. When I unplugged the one toward the center of the car, the click finally stopped when I touched the battery to the Net post. One of the wires is Orange. I posted a poor picture of the plug pulled and socket.
Does anyone know if this supposed to happen?
What is that plug for?
I do not have wiring diagrams yet, I just got the car.

If I disconnect both headlights at the flat gray plugs, and plug the flat plug under the passenger side headlight, the relay click does not happen.
If I plug in either or both headlights, I get that relay click sound under the passenger headlight.
The switch in the car is OFF.
Could this be a “Lights Off Time Delay” and perfectly normal?

With the headlights OFF and in the down position, when I touch the battery cable to the battery, I hear the relay click and the passenger side headlight motor rotates a few degrees as if it is trying to lower the headlights.
I think this motor may be continually trying to pull the light down and causing the drain to the battery. when I unplug just the passenger headlight, I still hear the relay click but the motor does not try to spin.
Confused.

I plugged all plugs in.
I pulled both 10amp Headlight Motor fuses.
Touched battery cable, no clicking under the headlight.
So, what ever is closing that relay and trying to spin the passenger side motor is defeated when both fuses are pulled.
I understand that. My question is, is this normal or is this what is causing my battery drain?

The negative post is the last one I am connecting.
I wonder why the passenger headlight motor tries to spin even though the lights are down. The driver motor does not do this. I have been reading that the HCM shuts off the motor given conditions. I hope this is normal.
