Fuel Pump - Upgrade or Stock??
With the new heads and cam, my car is making more power (albeit less than I expected). The new NA numbers average around 390rwhp.
I have been running a 150hp shot of N2O, and I'd like to continue to do so.
It has been suggested to me that it's time for a fuel pump upgrade because the stock unit is ony good for 450hp or so.
Does anyone still run their stock fuel pump with H/C and nitrous, or is everyone upgrading for safety? How involved (time and cost) is this exchange?
Thanks.

I upgraded mine to an aeromotive with a fuel pump controller. It keeps the pressure up where it needs to be during a WOT run.

My stock pump starts dropping pressure around 500 RWHP which at that point is at 5500 rpms.

Do you think it's dangerous to run that much power without upgrading the fuel pump? How involved is the upgrade?
