First my gas gauge goes out but I could still clear a code to make it work again but it would only work for a short period of time before going out again. Now when I clear the code the gas hand will move but it moves to the mark right before half of a tank every time. I can barely put gas in my car now. It’ll only take around 3 dollars and gas will come out of the hole. How can I fix this?
Looks like your fuel sending unit might be in need of a replacement. What year? Have you tried the search function? It seems some have run it low on gas maybe 1/8 of a tank and then fill with quality fuel and Techron. Or if you can get non ethanol fuel.

It’s a 2001 and what do you mean the search function? And I already tried to treat it with Techron when it first started to do this
If you list your codes it's easier give more precise advices .
The behavior of the right and left sender voltages give different DTC's depending on how the voltages drops when the car is running (consuming fuel)
Seems like your left side sender will be the cause. I’d be tempted to replace it with a new pump/sender but not OE due to cost. I’d put the extra money towards replacing the passengers side with the Delco non electric lift pump. I did both and my passengers side was on the verge of its (submerged) plastic tubing disintegrating. It had gone very very brittle. Your problem should be cured and you can be confident no issues from the passengers side about to happen after fixing one side.

Don't know what year your car is , but this link show the schematic for a 2000 .
The DTC sets when the voltage signal get to high on the C2:54 signal input from the left sensor .
Maybe due to wiring problems or due to internal failure the sensor slipring .
The sensor should indicate approx 40 ohm to 250 ohm over the full level range .
Not to hijack, but this begs the question; are the pump and sender an integral unit? As in can't buy one without buying both? My 2000 C5 unit is now 20 years old, and having issues, like with maybe only a gallon or two left in the tank and reading half full, it'll nosedive to "E"! Only tried 1 bottle of Techron so far. I understand Shell V-Power premium gas has Techron or equivalent in it. Which may explain why I started having trouble when I went with a different brand.....

So the driver side is the one that’s messed up? And will my gas tank tell me it’s at the mark under half if really it’s about to run out of gas cause I have no idea how much gas is actually in there
Well having just replaced both sides I’d say I see them both as integral units. Taking age into account too, it’d be a bit crazy to drop or drain gas just to try and replace the sender. I’m personally not sure if the senders are available separately. My made in China electric LH pump/sender seems to be working fine. However it did have POS and NEG wired wrongly from the factory!
Re above, I couldn’t tell you about tank gauge readings in relation to fuel quantity. All I know is the two senders must work together so some odd symptoms seem likely if one side isn’t working as it should.
If you have not tried using Techron yet, run the car down under 1/4 tank. Put in a bottle of the "Techron Concentrate Plus Complete Fuel System Cleaner" for a 20 gallon tank. Fill it up with Shell or Chevron top tier and let it sit for a day in the garage to soak. I have actually been able to do a quick left-right-left wiggle and the gauge will come to life after adding the cleaner the next day. My gauge acts up periodically and this is what cleans it up. You may need to do this a couple of times. When I got my car it had been sitting and the gauge was really bad. It took a few times with the Techron, then it was all good.
