I am interested in purchasing a H/C package for my car in the spring and I am trying to learn about who carries what, at what price, and with what results. I would be doing all the work myself. My car is mostly stock and I am looking for a decent package for a daily driver that sees autocross and drag duty.
These are the only mods I have so far.
T-stat
Hypertech III,
Breathless Intake with coupler and K&N
AFPR
hood seal
SLP MAF
Awaiting Borla Stinger system
The car is a 98 M6.
Looking for a low 12's high 11's car on drag radials.
I would recommend Total engine airflow http://www.totalengineairflow.com. They sell CNC ported heads at a very reasonable price and the heads have put down 440+rwhp. As far as cams, I would go with a 224/224 .600 112lsa.

Well of course I am going to recommend Agostino Racing Engines heads/cam packages.. All of our packages are custom to make sure you get what you want out of your engine performance wise.. Camshaft selection and tuning is probably the most important...
Drop me an email if you have any questions or want some pricing..
What the heck. I will throw our name out there. We are definitly not the cheapest out there, but we do pride ourselves in offering some of the best quality out there.
If you have any questions or would just like a little advice, feel free to give me a ring. We are happy to help.
There is a GM LS1 performance upgrade, which includes heads and cam. I believe it's the Z06 combo and it dosen't disqualify your GM warranty both standard and extended. I got a quote for around 3800 complete parts and labor and with full GM warranty.
Re: Who offers cam/head packages? (LG Motorsports)
I'm interested in the same thing for my '03 Z06. (Especially after I heard about overheating issues for roadraced cars with S/C kits.)
I definitely want to pass emissions and preferably not send my car too far away from the New England area. :chevy
Hey George, If you dont at least call me you will never see your boots again...    :jester :seeya
DOH! My Timberlands are being held for ransom!:)
Warranty isn't an issue, the car doesn't have one. I am mainly looking for a good streetable setup (who isn't) that will pass emissions.

I must say, I haven't had a single person look at the ported Super Ram you sold me and NOT be impressed with the workmanship.
Oh, baby. If you find a deal for under $3k, let me know. I am also looking for something in the Feb/March time frame. I have been planning a simple CAM swap, but a head and Cam job might just work out!
Oh, yeah I still have to get the gears, TC, tranny cooler, and transgo kit installed!!! Yikes it looks like I have some work to do! :smash: :smash:
So, are heads/cam something that can be done for say, under 3K?
Yes sir! :D Our Stage II heads and cam package typically makes around 420+ RWHP and drives like a champ on the street. The heads are $2399.95 complete with Stainless steel Custom made valves, Titanium reatiners, competition porting of the intake and exhaust runners, reconfiguration of the combustion chamber which aids in flame propagation resulting in a more complete burn, full polishing of the intake, exhaust, and combustion chambers, and assembly. You can see some pictures online on our site or come by and see them in person. We have a stage II set as well as a stage III set in stock and we try adn always keep it that way. We are trying to take the hard part of waiting out of the speed game. :yesnod:
We have a full line of Comp Cams Camshafts that are custom ground to our specs. These will run you $374.95 and we have many different grinds in stock.
Let me know if you would like any more information about any of our products or services. I am happy to help.
