Default Spare key programming

I’m running into an issue, so I can program the key (10:30 on/offx3) blah blah blah... anyway... it works after all that... starts the car. After I program the new key... the original key no longer starts the car. Help? I’ve successfully drained the batt trying to reprogram the original key lol charging that now. Do these only allow one programmed key to be paired?

Do you mean your FOB? Are you using the FOB learn on the DIC?

I’m doing something wrong then... cause when I program the second one... it wipes the first one... then if I put the first one back in the ignition... it wipes the second one as well.... then I have to reprogram the first one again...

Your two keys must have different VATS resistors. Use an Ohm meter to check the value on each key.
