More important question. What would it do to the compression ratio, putting heads for a 6.2L engine on a 5.7L?

Make sure the bolt holes line up to begin with & as far as cr goes just look up the combustion chamber size and that should give you a rough idea never attempted such a install so can’t really say whether they work or don’t work

Still a 10.1 as the ls1 the 853 also carried a 70cc chamber the flow on a non ported ls7 is roughly 226cfm ...u should prob just grab some 243 cathedrals and port the cathedral and open the exhaust port up a little and leave the valves amd bowls alone amd it would be quite a increase over a ls7 head in stock form...however if your gonna port them ls7 heads you could prob achieve 370 cfm’s somewhere in that range ......then your fighting to move all that air adequately in the block and exhaust you prob need a good vent for the crank case as well really no extreme mod goes without another mod for safety....of engine destruction goodluck

If you are referring to the heads up display from the C7, I doubt it would be compatible. They run through the cluster, so aside from getting it to physically fit you would have the issue of getting it to communicate. And even if you somehow managed all that, you would have to get it to actually project on the windshield at the correct angle for it to be visible - C7 is different from C6 which is different from C5.

would be interesting to see it done or one out of a thrashed c8 when it’s time ....Dunno if u reflash the hardware with the firmware from the older ones it might work it might not but then u have to extract embedded data so I would have to figure out it’s vga and main os to pull data provided u get it to function to a pc lots of potential headaches maybe but your not gonna know until you power it up in the car at the least

The C5 and C7 have completely different electrical architectures. It would be about as easy as making the avionics from the Space Shuttle work on a SpaceX rocket.

Something of this would be a more viable option and you could cut re fiberglass it ect depending on how u want it to look and u could hide all wiring amd u can use it as scan tool as well on your phone ....prob more pid displays can be custom down into this os easily just saying it’s a option of finding the right equipment for what is you want for functiona

Just a example this may be on the lower end of quality and function but much more advanced devices like this with better graphic like on a civic or something exist today as well just search around might be a 200-300 dollar items for the better high end ones not sure
