I also have this problem. Just replaced the PS motor and now have the problem with One light up and the other is down. All the stops were in good condition prior to replacing the PS motor.
I will try Bill Curlee fix and go from there. Hopefully someone has figured out what really causes this problem after replacing a HL motor.
