Default Wheel Bearings help

I have a 2001 Z06 that I purchased with approx 90K miles on it more than 10 years ago and now have approximately 128K miles. Car now makes a bad grinding sound when turning right but not left. Going to be doing some deep dive checking and wend on Rock Auto and bearings run from $40 to $290. So drive the car as an aggressive street car but no racing or track time. So what brands do people out here recommend. I also figure with the mileage I should probably just do all 4 at once? Thoughts and suggestions appreciated.

I went with Timkens when I replaced the rears. fine so far, but I don't really push them that much.

While front bearings aren't that much of a PITA - it's still going to take a little while, and I really dislike doing jobs a 2nd or 3rd time. I would recommend NOT going cheap - and getting something that has a decent warranty. I've used Timken bearings before - but I don't think they are as good as they used to be back years ago when they were made in the US.

While you're in there - you might want tho think about brake pads, and possibly a good brake fluid flush..........

Thank you on 'the Timken suggestions; his is what I was looking for and I agree that cheap is not the way to go. Any other good uses and brand names? Also if there is a really good part at half of GM pricing, I am good with that. Good suggestion on the brake pads while the calipers are off.

This site can help save people so much time, money and effort which is why I stay. Most of my help I give is on the C3 and C4s but owning a C5, need help here also.

In 2016 I put some Timkens on the front of my car. If memory serves they were about 100 bucks each maybe 110. Since then I've put probably 40k miles on them, tons of autocross and 5 track days and they aren't dead yet. If you're using your car harder than that and using higher performance tires than me, then I'd say get the SKF race bearings and forget about them. But if you're not doing more than what I've done, I'd say the Timkens are a worthy choice. I'd buy them again.

The only car I ever had with a bearing problem had the RF one fail twice. All the others were original and 22 years old when I sold the car. Based on that, I would not change any of the others until you start hearing them make noise. Bearings don't fail suddenly.

My Corvette's are holding up, knock on wood, but my Suburban and SRX haven't been so lucky. I did the bad one when it failed, but the other wasn't far behind. Used AC/Delco from Rock Auto and Amazon.

SKF makes two bearing that fit the C5, the afore mentioned 2008 Z06 bearings and the standard SKF. When mine started to go, I replaced with the standard SKF and 750 autocrosses and countless HPDE later they are still holding up.
