Hi. I’m tried to remove the ebcm module from a 1998 model. Its attached with four screws, i removed those and the wire harness but i was not able to remove the module. I also tried to help with a screwdriver to separate the module from the abs pump. Has anybody had the same problem and how did you finally removed the cover? Thanks!
There is a bolt going through the front of the module below the electrical connector. You have to remove that one to separate the EBCM module from the BPMV pump.
There is a nut on the end of the bolt that holds it to the bracket.
