Power steering lines
Putting things back together after replacing the harmonic balancer. I don't want these power steering lines to leak. Should I put any type of sealant on the threads? I have this product, what do you think of putting this on the threads?

I have had my rack out twice for various jobs and have never had a leak. I would not put that stuff on there.
They are an inverted flare fitting and when torqued should not leak unless there is damage, dirt or other debris in there.

. The part is engineered not to leak. If you're really that worried, I'd replace the lines. However, that shouldn't be necessary if they weren't leaking before.
