I am about 1/2 way finished the install. So far so good. The install is very straight forward. Remove the old air intake, remove the duct and fog lights. Bolt the new stuff in. Will post some pics in the next hour or so. If anyone has any questions on the install let me know.

Ran into a snag....My K & N Air duct wont work with the Vararam System/TNT nitrous ring but the stock one will. What air duct are you Vararam users running?
Phillip
Levi,
Is this with the TNT power ring also? I just finished the install with the factory air duct and accordian connection piece. The fit is tight but it works.
Phillip
It'll fit with the TNT ring if you cut the silicone coupler down about 1.5" it'll fit just fine. (this is if you get the Hi-Flow Air Duct from LAPD or some other aftermarket duct that comes with a silicone coupler)
There is another thread about the cheap fit and finish... and I can understand why..... thus my question.... I have my VaraRam sitting here in the study, Looking at where the two tunnels meet the replacement foglight holders, there are 3 screws and manual cuts. There is quite a bit of space on my right one and the cuts don't quite match up. The left one looks pretty good. I read the directions and it talks about using an air compressor and pressure testing the tunnels. Can you offer some clarification? Thanks.
Yeah, the Vararam got beat-up by a Forum Vender in another post! BUT, in taking the parts off the car to install the Vram, I thought, "all this stuff is thin plastic!" To get the weight down to help with MPG numbers and so on, the C5 engineers had to save weight with plastic parts instead of metal. The plastic on the Vararam isn't any cheesier than what's already there, I think. And, it gave me .3 of a second increase in 1/4 mile time and 3 more MPH. I like it, and yeah, it took me 3 - 4 hours to put on sitting in the driveway. Also, I'm using the Vortex power duct. It fit OK.
