Default 98 C5 Front crash sensor

Where can I buy one? Any other GM cars use the same sensor?
Thanks, Frank

I have never heard of a C5, or C anything crash sensor. I'll try to help you, but you'll have to be more specific. The only sensor I'm aware of in the front of a C5 is the external temp sensor, sorry......

Are you looking for the sensor that would be on the front frame rail that deploys the airbags?

Did a little checking. The sensor is actually behind the ashtray area. It has a large yellow connector going to it. This is the GM part number I was able to find, 16203545 (https://www.cultragfactoryparts.com/...ensor-16203545).
It looks like it was used on many GM models in 1998.

Here is the SDM module for the airbag system, https://www.cultragfactoryparts.com/...module-9378281, it has been discontinued.
