Just called around to some glass companies here in Colorado to get a replacement price for a headup windshield for my 2001 convertible. Glass companies said that the C5 headup and regular windshields have been
discontinued and discontinued from GM as well! I called Purifoy Chevrolet in Fort Lupton Colorado and the parts man looked them up on his parts computer, GM has discontinued them
for all C5's.
Has any Corvette after market companies selling them now?
Thanks!
I've wondered if I'd ever be able to get the thinned Z06 windshield, I've got a chip they won't do anything about, but will need one eventually.
nobody makes that one in a new replacement. Standard thickness in HUD and non HUD should not be a problem, but the thin ones, brand new, are likely never going to be available unless you were to find either a used one(that didnt get destroyed while pulling it) or a NOS sitting somewhere.

WOW!!! Nowhere near that in Michigan. Of course, mine was replaced in 2014, and it's probably gone up since, but I don't believe it's that much here.........yet.

l had my HUD windshield replaced by Safelight last year and the $1,600 is correct. Lucky for me my insurance company has a $50 deductible clause for windshield replacement so no big deal.
