Timing chain question

I have a 2003 mn6 base. Does the block on this car come with a timing chain damper or is that only installed on the Zo6 cars?

It should be drilled and tapped for it but thats all.

I remember my original 2000 LS1 block didn't have one of these,, and the block had no tapped holes,, either. Personally, I'm very surprised GM didn't install these OEM from '97 on. 😞 Oh well......
