Cover alignment confusion
Im confused. When installing a new timing cover do you install the front seal into the cover and then install and align the cover or do you align/install the cover first and then install/align the seal afterwards??? I also dont know how many alignment tools i need, there are a few different ones.

You need the tool that aligns the center of the hole in the cover with the center of the crank axis. The tool basically takes up the space where the seal goes so you have to install the cover properly aligned using the tool then press the seal into the gap between the crank and the cover.

And there are multiple types of alignment tools. You definitely want the type described above that allows you install the seal after. I used Saccity tools for the front and rear cover and they were phenomenal.
