so i have the clutch pedal back.. operates just fine. but i could not get the tight
against the firewall.. is little lose for some reason, put it back in the way i took it out, but my main concern
is, the thing is dripping more now than it did before. Installed the rebuild kit as instructed, and can t understand
why is leaking now.
any ideas would be appreciated.

If the rod is not pushing into the master perfectly straight it will leak like that.

ok... it should be i would think, I just removed and installed a rebuild kit in it..
but... i am guessing because I can t get it secured to the firewall with out it moving a bit, could be causing the problem.
No idea why it won t tighten down. the holes in it are not blind and the bolts should go through the firewall and into the
cylinder as far as they need to, to make it tight,,, have to do some more research, and take it apart again I think.
thanks for your thoughts

If it helps whatever the hole calls to be drilled at to mount I drilled twice meaning one hole where the sticker went and slightly above that again over with the same bit and just made the hole a bit more open ....and it fit fine .....I ended up up a oval shaped hole the bolt fit perfectly after

Indeed I agree it should have been simple as bolt up and on but the way the c5 well maybe the 97–01 the clutch pedal bracket has a slight indentation that protrudes outward and forms a hump that’s why I drilled twice and made it oval elongated.

Given there are prob more then one method to make the surface flush that’s just the remedy I used ...and the tick performance does have a lifetime time warranty if the arm is bent somewhere.....not much to complain about as overall besides a few small quirks and workmanship skills once it’s right I can say it will always shifts so much better then stock any day of the week ...but I can understand getting it dialed in is quite the pain in the *** this is why sometimes you do need the clutch experience from professionals as much I hate to admit it ....

It did come with a sticker with two stars on it for drilling depending on the model of your application....just saying what I had to do to make it fit right ...if I recall correctly one start was in the center and one was near the upper left I used the center point don’t remember the bit size I used but I’ll try to get you a picture after I’m done changing the oil out today sometime .....so unhave something to go by at least. just be careful adjusting it after u can easily disrupt your lower back leaning over the seat trust me .....
