Unusual headlight question

Has anyone started and idled their c5 without the entire headlight assemblies installed? Im working on the car and have the headlights completely off the car. Only the headlight motors are installed. I would like to idle the car to test out some engine work ive done. Would this cause any issues?

I've never tried it but, I can't see it hurting anything.. I think I would unplug the motors or remove that fuse so they stay in the same position

I wouldn't think starting the car would power the lights up. Unless you are going to turn the lights on and even then it shouldn't hurt anything.
